In Sudan with Panther Boir

By the time we got there, it was almost lunch time. Panther's wife Nyanthiec made me a traditional lunch.
After lunch Panther showed me around his village. All of it was great, but the last thing he showed me was the school he was building. By the time we got back, it was dark. Before we went home, Panther said he wanted to show me one more thing. We went to the center of the village. Most of the village was gathered  there. I asked Panther why everyone was there. He said it was because Lam Tungwar was singing. Here are a few of his songs!

Nyanthiec's lunch (good photo)...the village...the school...Lam's concert...great YouTubes...good job on your journal Jaime...maybe next time take a little more time to describe the village or the school or some of the people you met.

Jaime, as I wrote your comment, I remember you coming in to talk to me about your blog. I didn't give you any suggestions then because I hadn't yet read others' blogs to have ideas of what they thought they could talk about and how much they thought they could blog about. That is why I had some suggestions in my first comments. Find people who's blogs you admire, then get ideas from them. If you need suggestions on who to follow, I can easily do that. Keep up the careful work.

Good Job Jaime! That looks like a good lunch and I liked the african rap. Sounds like a fun trip.
