The first thing Maruge did was give me a hug. Then he went off down the road.
i was not sure if i was suppose to follow him. When Maruge was almost out of sight i heard a voice drifting on the wind saying "Are you coming?" For a man of his age he walked really fast i had to really run to catch up to him. By the time we got to him house it was already 6:00. i was ready to go to bed after a long day of flying.

Day 1: Jambo...sky and grass...great photo...great hug...catching up with the old man with the giant stride and giant smile....
Day 2: catching up with Maruge on his way to school...the kids's welcome...nice photo......teacher...day quickly over...I sure would like to know some of what happened at school...what you talked with Maruge about on the way home or before bed....
Day 3: sleeping in...milking goats...town...the burnt house...quiet walk home...the sound of crying....
Jaime, this was/is good. I am sorry you didn't have the energy to finish your visit. I really enjoyed the relationship you were forming with Maruge. I hope you are rested for our last two months of school. I look forward to your blog, and don't want to get left hanging like this. Maruge deserves a full visit, I think.
